Birthday freebie planner

The trouble with birthday freebies isn't finding them — it's the timing. Join a club too late and the reward misses your birthday; a handful of programs need weeks, even months, of notice before the day. This planner fixes that. Enter your birthday and state, and it builds a personalised, dated checklist of which free birthday clubs to join and exactly when.

Every date is computed from the 328 Australian birthday offers we track — 26 of which need you to sign up ahead of time. Programs that need notice come first, each with a specific "join by" deadline counted back from your next birthday; the rest are the loyalty and app clubs you can join whenever, sorted so the best-known brands are near the top. Where we know a deal's redemption window, the row shows the dates the offer is valid.

It all runs in your browser — your birthday is never sent to us, and there's no account to make. You can also download a yearly calendar reminder so next year's planning starts on its own.

Your birthday stays in your browser — we never see or store it.

Common questions

How far ahead of my birthday should I sign up?

It depends on the program. Some send the reward the moment you join, so a day or two is plenty. Others only trigger the offer if you sign up a set number of days before your birthday — a few need up to three months' notice. The planner reads that lead time from each deal we track and gives you a specific 'join by' date, so you never miss one by joining too late.

Do I need to join every program on the list?

No. The list shows everything you could claim — pick the brands you actually visit. Joining a loyalty club usually means an account or app and, sometimes, marketing email. It's worth it for the freebies you'll use and skippable for the rest.

Is my birthday kept private?

Yes. Your birthday is only ever used in your own browser to work out the dates, and it's saved in your browser's local storage so the plan is still there next time. It's never sent to us or anyone else — there's no account and no server involved.

What do the 'join by' dates mean?

A 'join by' date is the last day to sign up so a lead-time reward reaches you in time. We calculate it by counting back from your next birthday by the number of days that program needs. If that date has already passed, the planner tells you to join today instead.

Why does the planner ask for my state?

Some birthday offers only run in certain states or territories. Choosing your state hides the ones you can't claim and keeps nationwide offers, so the checklist reflects what's actually available where you live. Leave it on 'All Australia' to see everything.
